Pentagon Emails Reveal Autonomous Weapons Dispute with Anthropic

Court documents made public this week revealed a tense exchange between the Pentagon and Anthropic over AI use in military applications. Pentagon Undersecretary Emil Michael demanded access to Claude for autonomous weapons systems and mass surveillance programs.
